Finished with Compostion 2

Finishing up this semster feels good because of all of the hard work that I put into it.  Finally I hope that everything Ive done will pay off.  I only have 5 more semesters after this and I will be a graduate! Looking forward to that day when I will have my  diploma.

Concert with JLo and Enrique

I went to a concert this past weekend with my husband Jorge and my friend Juany.  My step daughter also came with us.  It was a fun concert! I love Enrique he was fun and sang great! Enrique brought some gay guy up on stage and had him sing with him "Stand By Me" which was hilarious.  Jlo was great too.  She had surprise guests Lil Wayne and FloRida.  She sang all of her great songs!! Loved that  concert!

Doc 3 Poems

Document three has been a great way for me to express how I feel about these two poems.  They are both about mother daughter relationship that goes bad.   Any mothers out there can understand that we can get into an alteration with our children all the time.  In these two poems the mothers want for their daughters to do good not be gay, or cut their hair short.  I know from being a mom that these things can be very important to me. 

Document 3

For my last paper I wrote about two poems.  A Chinese Bouqqet and The posssessive.  In both of these they talk about what is comparable to the opems.  Having a mother who wants the daughters to be a certian way.  Having the daughters to rebel against the mothers. 

Wordle Words

When I looked at all of the words from the Wordle.com, there was a surprise of a word that popped out, Boyfriend.  Well I think it pops out because of the story A Rose With Emily.  In the story Emily had a boyfriend that was never seen, which is just creepy.  Poems was another word that popped out.  In this semester we went over many poems which were an eye opener to me.  Talking about so many hidden feelings and letting the reader go inside the minds of these writers was interesting to read about.

Doc 2 A Rose for Emily

A Rose For Emily was the story that wrote document two on.  A rose for Emily is a story that talks about a woman who looses her mind about her boyfriend going into her house and never  coming out.  To think that this woman got away with having her boyfriend inside her house and the boyfriend and was never seen again.  Scary stuf.

Composition 2

Composition two I have learned a lot with all of the stories and poems.  This class has taught me to not judge things or people when it comes to looking at things in a different view. 

Enjoying the poems

Reading all of these poems have been an eye opener for me.  When I read a poem it allows me to have an insight of what that writer is expressing.  Sometimes  I can feel what the writer is saying.  It also allows me to get a glipse of what is going on with the poets life.  Poems are interesting to me.  I like most of them.

My Kids are my symbol to my life

My two boys are Antonio and Ethan.  These two mean the world to me.  Having my boys in my life means so much to me and that is why I wanted to talk about them.  The biggest sybmol is when I get from them is the love.  Being a mother has so  much resposibity that comes with it.  I feel very blessed to have them.

Salsa Concert

My Husband and I went to an amazing Salsa Concert at The Hard Rock Casino.  We had such a fun night dancing and having fun!

A Rose for Emily

A Rose for Emily was a weird story because Emily was crazy to have the dead body there for so long. 

Peer view Process

I think that the peer view process can work because when we have to work together in groups, we can also give back helpful ideas for each others papaers.  I also think that it can be helpful because it is important to get as much help on our papers as possible. 

The things I carry with me each day

The things tht I carry with me is usually my purse.  That has so many things in it becasue I am a mom.  Sometimes I will put in wipes and a pull up.  USually I have my wallet and keys for my car and house.  I also carry makeup , purfume, pens, pencil, usb, gum, and what ever else that may be put in there.

Getting ready for Las Vegas

Getting everything ready for our little Vacation in Las Vegas! I am super ecxited because we are going to see the show O! We are also staying at The Bellagio which to me is one of the best hotels there.  My husband Jorge work is sending us there for an all expense paid vacation because he is the number one salesman for KIA! So proud of him!

Great Weekend with the Family

This weekend was the beginning of the 2012 Olympics.  They had they thier opening in London which was hilarious!! The Queen of England jumped out of a plane and parichuted down to the opening! Good stuff. 

Group writing process with The J's!

Having this assignment with my group members Jennifer and Juany makes this better because we can talk about this very interesting story together.  Sharing the ideas of what happened to this little girl.  Our group has definetly grown and gotten better.

Writing a essay about, "When Mr. Pirzada came to dine" is very interesting story because of the depth that the writer, Jhumpa Lahiri goes in.  I really like this story because it has a wonderful story line of how and when it took place.  Writing for a group project is going to be good because now we can share thoughts and ideas about the story.

2012 Olympics

The 2012 Summer Olympics are happening right now.  They are doing the practice trails, and should be close to competing against one another.  I like the summer Olympics, because they have all the track and feild.  They also have the swimming events which I love.  Another one that I love is the Gymnastics that they have. I love the gymnastics because  they have all of the different events that the gymnatics do. 

Family Fridays

We always like to have a family fun Friday with the family.  I have three step daughters, Gina, Clory, and Flavia.  They are the sweetest girls ever, and I am blessed to have them.  I also have two boys, Antonio and Ethan.  So we went out this past Friday to Putt Putt in Boynton Beach and had a great time with the whole family.  Sometimes we will go to the movies.  Last weekend we went and saw the movie ,"Ted" .  Which was not a family oriented movie at all.  That movie was hilarious though.  

English 1002

Looking forward to having a great semester.  I hope that I will be able to write better essays, and clearer responses with all of my answers.  I think that this class will help me out to become a potentially greater writer. 

Writing for English 1002

Looking forward to having a more challenging and successful semester.  Writing for my third semester with Mr Hamon has definitely made me a better reader and writer. I am hoping that these skills will continue and grow.  Writing is such an important  thing for anyone to be above and beyond the average. I know mine has improved tremendously.
